There is a new post here, three entries below this one. It got slotted in based on when I began writing it (approximately seven years ago), which meant it might've gotten overlooked had I not been here pointing it out while screaming, "READ, DAMN YOU!" You're welcome.

    Phew, thanks. Though I re-read daily everything you write, I might have somehow missed it...
    And by the way, Barry Zito's contract his worse than Hampton's...

    Yeah, I seriously considered using Zito instead of Hampton. I'd say that those two and Soriano's are definitely the top-3, though I'm not real sure about the order.

    I can't believe Mr. Sports Know it All has nothing to say about a perfect game. I know your a die hard Cubs fan, but do we have to change your moniker to Mr. Cubs Know it All.

    Sorry, Damon. I really did intend to do a Buehrle post, but the realities of work are putting a severe crimp in my blogging. I'll try to get something Buehrle-related up today, and since he did set that record yesterday, it will still have the appearance of being as timely as today's headlines.
